Introducing our new site: Harvesting Justice!
Farmworker Justice has launched Harvesting Justice, a dynamic, interactive website to advance advocacy for the people who put food on our tables.
We hope Harvesting Justice will be an interesting, useful resource for the public and farmworker advocates: a participatory online community of people concerned about the issues affecting those who labor so hard on our farms and ranches.
Don't worry -- our first website, www.farmworkerjustice.org, isn't going away. You'll still be able to find tons of information at FarmworkerJustice.org, including in-depth explanations of guestworker programs in the U.S., the status of the AgJOBS legislation, updates on pesticide safety advocacy, curricula on HIV/AIDS prevention, and the latest on our organization's litigation and advocacy efforts. Our purpose here at Harvesting Justice is to provide a place for interaction, sharing information, and online community organizing.
Harvesting Justice (HJ) is dedicated to facilitating an ongoing conversation that we hope will enhance understanding of farmworkers' problems, stimulate discussion of effective solutions, spread compassion and ignite a spark in even more people as we continue our efforts to empower farmworkers to improve their living and working conditions.
