Due to our campaign for Secretary of Elaine Chao, she is no longer a mere write-in candidate. She is now on the ballot.
Among her many misdeeds as Secretary of Labor is the set of radical, anti-worker changes to the nation's H-2A agricultural guestworker program that she is about to formally announce. Slashing wage rates, removing obligations to recruit US workers effectively, depriving foreign workers of full reimbursement for their long distance travel costs, and reducing the government's oversight of this abusive program. Secretary Chao, aided by Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, is about to inflict incredible harm on the poorest of the working poor.
