The trade papers are reporting agribusiness opposition to the H-2A guestworker program changes that Secretary Solis issued Friday (despite the fact that they mostly restore Reagan Administration job standards).  But at least they are demanding Congressional action on the AgJOBS farmworker immigration legislation.  Let's make it happen.  AgJOBS would address the labor needs of agribusiness while helping farmworkers improve their conditions and status.  It's a bipartisan, labor-management compromise that makes sense.  More information on our main website, www.farmworkerjustice.org, under immigration/labor.
