Read the review of the new book, The Migrant Project: Contemporary California Farm Workers. It notes the fine photography of Rick Nahmias and mentions that one of the essays accompanying the moving photos is by Farmworker Justice's Bruce Goldstein (yours truly). The book is published by the University of New Mexico Press and can be purchased online through the usual sources. Rick, a Los Angeles based photographer, is donating a major portion of his royalties from the book to farmworker causes.
