Two Farmworkers Slain in Florida

Quirino Velasquez and Santos de la Cruz, two farmworkers active in promoting better occupational safety practices amongst their fellow workers, were murdered recently in Florida. A local organization, Farmworkers Self-Help, held a candle light vigil in remembrance yesterday. Story from the Tampa Tribune.
