Senate hearing on Ending Abuses and Improving Working Conditions for Tomato Workers

The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions held a hearing yesterday on Ending Abuses and Improving Working Conditions for Tomato Workers (watch a video of the entire hearing on that site). Among those testifying were Eric Schlosser, author of Fast Food Nation, Mary Bauer of the Southern Poverty Law Center and Lucas Benitez of the Coalition of Immokolee Workers.
