CIW lauches new campaign for Florida farm workers

Also, Senators Durbin and Sanders along with Senators Edward Kennedy (D-MA) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH), sent letters today to seven of the largest grocery chains and wholsalers (Winn Dixie, Kroger, Publix, Safeway, SUPERVALU, SYSCO, US Food Service, and Wal-Mart) urging them to pledge to do their part in increasing the per bushel piece rate that workers are paid.
